Pioneer Contract was proud to join fellow members of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in making a meaningful difference for local students as they head into a new school year.
This special community initiative, led by IFMA’s Houston chapter, brought together facility management professionals from across the region to collect and assemble clear backpacks filled with essential school supplies for Harris County children in need. The goal was simple but powerful: ensure every student has the tools they need to start the year confident and ready to learn.
Over the course of the event, volunteers worked side-by-side to unpack, sort, and organize donations—then filled each clear backpack with notebooks, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, and other classroom essentials. The atmosphere was one of teamwork, laughter, and purpose as members came together for a shared cause.
By the end of the day, the IFMA team had successfully packed over 17,000+ backpacks, all destined for local schools that serve children from low-income families.
The clear backpacks not only meet school safety requirements but also give students a fresh start with supplies they can proudly call their own. For many recipients, these backpacks will be their only new school items for the year.
Pioneer Contract is honored to be part of IFMA’s ongoing commitment to education and community support. As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to finding ways to use our resources, time, and talents to lift up those around us—because strong communities help all of us thrive.
